Founder & Artisan Sourdough Baker
It all began with a simple idea—and a lot of failed starters. I tried again and again, only to step back in frustration. Eventually, I gave in and bought a starter from a local baker, but when it ran out, I knew I had to truly learn. After diving deep into the Tartine method and committing to the process, something finally clicked. Since then, it’s been nonstop baking, sharing loaves, passing on starter, and teaching others. What started as curiosity became a passion rooted in art, science, and connection—and now, I get to share that with you.

Anna, my daughter and trusted sidekick, was one of my very first sourdough students. Together, we’ve spent countless hours in the kitchen—laughing through our messes, getting frustrated with our failures, and always encouraging each other to keep going. What started as simple trial and error turned into something much more meaningful. Through patience, practice, and persistence, we grew side by side, refining our skills and deepening our love for sourdough. Today, we continue to share that journey—bringing not just knowledge, but heart, into every class we teach.
